SYNOPSIS

This dark comedy centers on Dennis Turney, once the child star who played Carol the Cactus. Now 30 and working as a weary waiter in a sushi bar, Dennis imagines himself back in the whimsical world of Carol to soften the bitterness of his everyday life. But as the demands of his manipulative colleague and a relentless customer mount, the fantasy begins to collapse. Dennis is left to confront not only the loss of his past role, but also his fading grasp on the one wish he’s always carried with him—to be happy.
